CAREER TALKS:

This week's Kawhe Kōrero was presented by our local Blockhouse Bay Vets: Dr Fiona Tritton, Dr Caroline from MPI and Vet nurse Hannah. It was great to see students so interested and engaged - taking part and getting hands-on learning with the test dummy animals.

GBHS's weekly 'Kawhe Kōrero' sessions are held each Tuesday lunchtime in E3, allowing students to ask real questions and have them answered by real people in the industry.

COMING UP (Term 3) This is the last talk for Term 3, as seniors will be on Study Leave (14 - 25 September). • Tuesday 8th September: DOCTOR / NURSE - with guest speakers: Dr April Garton, from Waitakere Hospital; Jessica Lawson, Community Nurse from Parkinsons NZ.
