It's a busy time in the Performing Arts world at GBHS!

Students are preparing for their annual Dance Showcase (19 August. 6.30pm); Music students are taking part in a number of musical moments, starting with today's Stand up Stand out competition,and senior Drama students are heading out to the ASB Waterfront to view a performance of MacBeth for their assessments.

Friday 7 August - Rockapella Competing at Stand Up Stand Out. Students in the Rockapella singing group are heading to Stand Up Stand Out to perform on Friday. They will be leaving early morning and back for Period 3.

Friday 7 August - Senior Drama MacBeth performance. Held at ASB Waterfront Theatre. Leaving start of Period 2 and back by 2.30pm.

Tuesday 11 August - Chamber Group Performing at KBB Music Festival. The Chamber Group is performing at St Mary's-in-Holy Trinity in Parnell for the KBB Music Festival. Leaving at the end of Period 2, they will be back for Period 4.

Tuesday 11 August - Funk Band Competing at Stand Up Stand Out. The Funk Band are performing in the bands section of Stand Up Stand Out. They will be leaving at 12pm and returning approximately for Period 5.

Wednesday 19 August - DANCE SHOWCASE 6.30pm start. Entry by koha. The evening will include performances from students who are in Years 9-13, including senior class assessments and our co-curricular dances. Also featuring a few performances from our Cultural groups.
