Have you considered a career in teaching?

Green Bay High School is proud to be part of the Auckland Schools' Teacher Training Programme (ASTTP), in partnership with the University of Waikato.This hands-on programme accelerates learning as teachers train in a school environment while completing their qualifications. Our highly qualified teachers act as mentors allowing trainee teachers a rewarding and enriching learning journey as they complete their teaching qualification.

• The programme is completed in one year, spent with experienced mentors at GBHS - and is an excellent opportunity for people in our local community who are passionate about teaching as a career
• Trainee teachers will also attend remote lectures and complete assignments for the University of Waikato

  Scholarships are available for 2025, which will cover the cost of the University fees and a monetary stipend for the year (amount to be confirmed)
