Buddies Without Borders (BWB) online forum:

Congratulations to Krisha Karippail (Year 11) who is part of the international Buddies Without Borders (BWB) online forum team, selected alongside students from Turkey, India, Taiwan, and Iran to take part in the 'My Sustainable Lifestyles Challenge' organised by the United Nations System Staff College.

"... I wish to give back to my community and the wider world, to ensure I am doing my part to promote and maintain our SDGs. I try to be very aware of my privilege and fortune in receiving the opportunities and support that I do, and I think it is essential to try to use them to help others...."

Having started on 19 August 2024, this event is part of the BWB forums held 3-5 times a year, with representatives from each country meeting weekly online to debate and co-author recommendation papers to solve a predefined Sustainable Development Goals-related challenge.
