Sisters United presents the annual Dream Girl Conference, held at the Due Drop Events Centre, on Wednesday 13 September.
This is an exciting opportunity for a group of Year 9 and Year 10 Pasifika girls to be inspired to chase their dreams, to be empowered to use their voices, and to discover their self-worth and confidence through fun and creative workshops.
Did you know? Sisters United is an organisation run by Parris Goebel (founder and main choreographer of the Palace Dance Studio) and her sisters Kendal and Narelle. Combing their skills and experience in social work, creative arts and design, with their passion and enthusiasm for helping the lives of young Pasifika and Māori women. Sisters United delivers a culturally responsive programe through creative delivery.

The day involves guest speakers from other wahine toa (strong women leaders) with lots of fun, interactive workshops. Participants will build a stronger sense of self and cultural identity, learning how to become more confident within themselves, while building positive well-being and resiliency.
