Building mental fitness and social connection
Green Bay High School is very excited to be working with the LifeChangers team again this year.
LifeChangers work in schools across the country, and many of our students will have experienced their workshops at both primary and intermediate schools.
The team will be delivering two programmes this term.
Year 12 students will be taking part in the LifeChangers (2 periods) iLead workshop, during Week 8.
The iLead Workshop is an empowering exploration of what it means to be a leader. Participants engage in self-discovery; how to overcome personal challenges and barriers, and investigate their personal values; gaining insights into how these shape their decision-making. This immersive workshop equips participants with an enhanced toolkit of practical skills designed to foster resilience and fuel personal growth. Year 11 students will be taking part in the LifeChangers (2 periods) Stress Less workshop, during Week 9.
Throughout the Stress Less Workshop, participants uncover and explore collective contributors to stress and anxiety, beginning to understand the intricate link between relationships and mental health. Through practical application, participants acquire mindfulness techniques designed to elevate their overall wellbeing, providing valuable tools for navigating the challenges of their senior years with resilience and ease.
