Year 8 Survey

"We're here to help"

This is the message Year 9 Academic Council students (Leo Ferguson, Tom Dale, and Beth Cuirlionis) would like to share with incoming Year 8s who are enrolled to start at Green Bay High School next year.

The move from intermediate school to high school can be a significant event for young people.

To help with this transition, Leo, Tom, and Beth, have reflected on their own feelings about starting high school and have created a short survey providing Year 8s the opportunity to have their own questions answered. Their survey has been sent via email to Year 8 Parents/Caregivers.

• Please check your emails and ask your child to take a few moments to answer the quick survey.
• All questions will be answered during Transition Visits, to be held in November.

Transition visits are designed to help relieve some of the stress which can be associated with starting at a new school as well as an initial chance to begin building relationships with key people. To help with your planning, more information, including the Transition Visit schedule will be sent via email ahead of time.
