2026 School-Based Teacher Training Programmes:

Green Bay High School is proud to be involved with two excellent teacher training programmes - Auckland Schools' Teacher Training Programme (through the University of Waikato) and The Teachers' Institute. Each programme is for one year and leads to New Zealand teacher registration:

Please read the programme information at the links above to see if you would qualify - candidates would need a bachelor's degree or higher, however, for certain subject areas, like Te Reo Māori, Pasifika studies and Technology, relevant experience may be sufficient.
