Rounders' Day

Year 9 students put their best foot forward during ROUNDERS' DAY earlier this week, betaing the chill, with a stunning blue sky backdrop.

Linked to the Year 9 Physical Education course, GBHS's Rounders' Day is the perfect opportunity for students to develop communication skills (listening and speaking), leadership, and teamwork while demonstrating fair play and resilience.

Students will develop their batting skills and fielding techniques, and support peers with coaching and umpiring while understanding the physical, mental, and social health benefits of playing rounders. House Points are also awarded for school spirit, best dressed, top class.
