Auditions!

Auditions and sign-ups for our school music ensembles will take place in the Music Department next week!

These groups give students the chance to develop musical skills, perform in school and community events, and work in ensembles.

Chamber Ensemble – Monday, M2 lunchtime, with Amelia Owens For students who enjoy a challenge, competitions, and performing for the community.

Junior Band – Tuesday, M1 lunchtime, with Tim Gittens Auditions are held due to high demand. Suitable for Year 9–10 students developing ensemble and performance skills.

Jazz Band (‘Greenies’) – Thursday, M2, 8:10am with David Edmundsen For dedicated musicians interested in jazz, improvisation, and ensemble performance.

Rockapella – Thursday, 8:10am in M1, with Leza Corbin Open to all singers. Performs popular contemporary ballads at school and community events.

Funk Band – Friday, 8am in M2, with Tim Stewart Auditions are held due to high demand. For students who enjoy groove-based music and performing in a dynamic band.

We encourage you to support your child in joining a group, attending auditions, and meeting the teachers next week.
