GBHS raised over $6,000 towards NZ Cancer Research!

Thank you to everyone who supported the GBHS Relay For Life team, as they trotted their way around the track on Saturday (6 April) keeping the team baton in motion for 12 hours!

The event was a mixed bag of emotions. It was fun, challenging, entertaining, and sadly poignant - not only the candlelit laps - but also being in the moment (te angitu ngātahi, working together) to raise funds for a good cause, while also remembering those we have lost and those who are still battling cancer.

Small steps can make a remarkable difference for people affected by cancer in our community.

All funds raised go towards the Cancer Society's supportive care services, education and awareness programmes, and life-saving cancer research.

Auckland's Relay for Life event raised a total of $279,522.44.
