Chess Blitz Grand Finale!

The great GBHS Chess Blitz finale took place today. The library was abuzz with knights and castles as (check)mates plotted their revenge, advancing to be crowned GBHS Chess Champion of 2023. Today's heat was certainly a nail-biting event! Well done to the finalists: Luke Blake, Scott Morgan-Smith, and Koby Peters.

Congratulations to Scott Morgan-Smith (Year 13) who played extremely well, under the scrutineering eyes of a huge crowd of on-lookers.
