Kia ora e te whānau; This week, I had the pleasure of seeing the incredible creativity and innovative talent of our students on full display. At the Technology Showcase, I was amazed by the high-calibre projects from our senior technology classes - proof of the hours of hard work and dedication they have put in this year. Then, as a judge in the annual school BP Business Challenge, I got to see the other side of the spectrum: the early-stage brilliance of our budding entrepreneurs, full of fresh ideas and blue-sky thinking. Each of these opportunities really highlighted the range of talent we have at GBHS, from bold ideas to polished, professional products.
NCEA exams kicked off on Tuesday and it has been wonderful to see so many students arriving at and leaving those exams full of confidence. I wish all our senior students the best over the next few weeks.
