Kia ora e te whānau; it is great to see our students busy in school life and enjoying the many opportunities to keep busy and active, participating in sports, school, and community events.
The level of talent on display during Green Bay's Got Talent show on Wednesday evening was outstanding and I am so proud to see our school values of Excellence, Courage, Respect, and Responsiveness being showcased - it is opportunities like these that allow us to see students shine in their element.
Winter sports are well underway and there has been a lot of activity this week with some outstanding results in the Auckland Cross Country Champs, Squash Champs, and the Auckland Swimming Champs. Our girls' Football teams are having a strong start to the year with the 1st X1 Girls' currently undefeated, and the 2nd XI Girls' also sitting undefeated and top of their league.
Next week is Samoan Language Week, with activities planned each lunchtime. This will be a short week with the Teacher Only Day on Friday 31 May (NCEA Accord Day) followed by King's Birthday on Monday 3 June (public holiday).
Have a great weekend.
