Kia ora e te whānau, It’s hard to believe that we are already halfway through term one! I am so pleased that GBHS will take part in the Relay for Life this year. Cancer touches so many families and I am really proud of Charlotte and Bella Soland (Year 10 students) for organising a school team and getting behind such a great cause.
Next week is summer tournament week and I wish our participating teams all the best in their tournaments. Teams have put in a lot of hard work during trainings and games across the term and I want to thank all the managers and coaches that have supported them every step of the way. I also want to give a shout-out to Hamish, Georgia and Leo in the Sports Department. We now have more students than ever involved in GBHS sport and the work that goes into coordinating 12 summer codes is phenomenal.
