Fond Farewell: Debbie Tonkin (GBHS Accounts Manager)

Green Bay High School Accounts Manager, Debbie Tonkin, is leaving us for greener pastures!

After 17 years of dedicated service, Debbie has decided to move out of Auckland to be with her family. Over the years Debbie has been a true professional. No problem was too great and her ability to treat people with respect and understanding has not gone unnoticed.

Debbie has been a stalwart of the Green Bay community, her children all went to local schools, came through GBHS and have grown to become independent well established young adults. Many students will remember her daughter, Melissa Tonkin, who taught in the GBHS English department for a few years, before also moving out of Auckland to continue her teaching career. We are sorry to see Debbie go, but wish her all the best on her new adventures.
