School Exam Period

Thursday, 7th August 2025 at 3:10pm

REMINDER:

Our school exams will be held in Weeks 8 and 9 (Tuesday 2nd of September – Friday 12th of September). These exams will run under full NCEA examination conditions, and results may be used for Derived Grades if required. These exams are extremely important for several reasons:

  1. They provide essential preparation for the NCEA end-of-year external exams.
  2. They serve as Derived Grade, which may be used if a student is unable to sit their end-of-year exams due to illness, accident, bereavement or national representation.
  3. Many of the exams are actual NCEA external papers or workshops that contribute to external portfolios, so attendance is crucial.
