Careers Education Plan: Second Module - next week!
As part of our school-wide Careers Education Plan, all students will be completing their second careers module for the year next week on Wednesday, 28th May 2025, during an extended form period.
This initiative is designed to support students’ career development at every year level. From exploring personal interests and strengths in Year 9, to investigating career opportunities and future pathways in Year 13, our scaffolded program helps students build awareness and confidence in their future choices.
Each module aligns with our vision that all students will participate in career education through a structured, visible, and supportive process. Modules are accessible to students, teachers, and whānau via SchoolPoint, and we encourage you to talk with your child about what they’re learning and planning for their future.
SchoolPoint Modules: The Careers Team at Green Bay High School offers a range of resources and support for students. These include access to career information and guidance, professional development for staff, partnerships with external agencies, alumni, and industry networks.
We encourage all whānau and caregivers to view and comment on their child's career development by logging into SchoolPoint. This will allow you to stay up-to-date with their progress and provide support where needed. We believe that by taking a collaborative and inclusive approach to career education, we will be able to provide our students with the best possible outcomes and opportunities for success.
