Year 8 Survey

This is the message Year 9 Academic Council students (Tom Dale, Beth Cuirlionis, and Leo Ferguson) would like to share with incoming Year 8s who are enrolled to start at Green Bay High School next year.

The move from intermediate school to high school can be a significant event for young people.

To help with this transition Tom, Beth, and Leo, have reflected on their own feelings about starting high school and have created a short survey providing Year 8s the opportunity to have their own questions answered.

This survey will be included in an email to Year 8 Parents/Caregivers included in the Transition Visit information, closer to the transition dates - please start having this conversation with your child, so they can be assured their questions will be answered.🙂

• All questions will be answered during Transition Visits, to be held in November.

Transition visits are designed to help relieve some of the stress which can be associated with starting at a new school, as well as an initial chance to begin building relationships with key people. To help with your planning, more information, including the Transition Visit schedule, will be sent via email ahead of time.
