Congratulations to Bethan Webster, who is an exceptional Year 12 student with an aptitude for science, maths and technology!

Bethan has been successful in her application to the Rotary National Science and Technology Forum (7th - 21st January 2023) and will attend a two-week immersive experience at the University of Auckland. As well as living onsite in student accommodation, Bethan will attend two, three-hour lectures a day - hosted by Auckland University of Technology (AUT), Massey University, and the University of Auckland, gaining an insight into the broad range of science, mathematics and technology courses available for study at tertiary level.

Bethan is passionate about pursuing a Medical career and is looking forward to the Forum, which will provide her with a better understanding of which tertiary courses to follow.

The Rotary National Science & Technology Forum is a programme for high-achieving Year 12 students who are returning to complete their Year 13 secondary education, and are planning to study the sciences or technology at tertiary level. This fully residential programme is conducted by Rotary and the Tertiary Institutions of Auckland.

We are sure Bethan will leave the Forum inspired and highly motivated!
