A group of musically minded GBHS students took to the stage at the ‘We Are Loud’ Charitable Trust’s official Charity Launch Party, held at The Tuning Fork, last weekend (Sunday, 14th September 2025).

Bella Vinall (Year 11), Dustin Giles (Year 11), and Marcus Lins (Year 12) were invited as ‘We Are Loud’ students to take part, alongside Reb Fountain, Hopetoun Brown, Jenni Smith and Moana Maniapoto as MC.

Bella wrote and performed her original song ‘Nothing Good’ playing keyboard - accompanied by Dustin Giles on the electric guitar. Bella will also compose another original song, written especially for the end-of-year We Are Loud event.

Dustin played a further three sets: No More Tears - Ozzy Osbourne; Sugar We're Goin' Down - Fall Out Boy; and The Pretender - Foo Fighters, alongside fellow student Marcus Lins (drummer).

We Are Loud Charitable Trust aims to provide fully or partially subsidised musical education and lessons as a pathway to personal development for students, while also providing a development programme that builds self-confidence in students.
