Kia ora e te whānau, I’ve been really proud of our senior students and our Year 10 students who are sitting the various exams this week. Attendance has been excellent and it’s clear that so many of our students have put a lot of time and effort into studying for these exams.
The elections for the student representative on the Board of Trustees is coming up in week 10. The student representative plays a vital part on the Board, making sure that student perspective is always present in the discussions and decisions that the Board makes. I really encourage all students in Years 9-12 to read the candidate statements, listen to the campaign speeches and vote in the election in week 10.
Finally, we’re excited to be celebrating Te Wiki o te Reo Māori next week. There will be lots happening and we’ll be sharing it all with you via our school facebook, website, and newsletter across the week.
Have a great weekend.
Ngā mihi nui, Fiona Barker PRINCIPAL
