GBHS Newsletter (12 May 2023)
Kia ora e te whānau;
As I write, I am looking out at the blue sky and feeling happy to have a break from the rain and wind that has dominated this week. I want to thank you all for your support on Tuesday. The school site held up considerably well across the day and there was no lasting water or storm damage. The procedures we had in place for managing weather events worked smoothly, however, we will take the opportunity to review the actions across that day, so we can keep improving our responses.
We are looking to capture your thoughts on phone use across the school. Please fill in the short survey, included in this week's newsletter. We value your feedback. The results of this survey as well as feedback from staff and students will be used to support the Board and school to make policy and procedures going forward.
Next week our 24/7 team will be running a series of great events each day in celebration of our fantastic GBHS students. We are encouraging all students to get involved and I know there will be lots to share in next week's newsletter.
Have a great weekend.
