EVolocity 1st Place!

A team of GBHS students are leading the way for sustainable engineering - winning the Bike (standard class) category at the EVolocity electric vehicle competition held on Saturday at Whenuapai Air Base.

EVolocity provides electric motor kits and a set of general guidelines to schools, to help inspire rangitahi into sustainable engineering while also promoting Aotearoa’s clean tech future. With the help of teachers, students plan, engineer and build electric karts or bikes and get to race their electric vehicles against other school teams.
