Business is Booming!

Congratulations to Sienna Dias and Anjelique Jessup-Smyser (Bake-it-Easy) and Bella Willson-Fry and Kate Adolph (Soothe) whose Business ventures have secured them a spot in the YES Tāmaki Makaurau Regional Finals of the Lion Foundation Young Enterprise Scheme, held at the Victory Convention Centre on Tuesday 24 October.

Students will present a five-minute pitch to the Judges, followed immediately by two minutes of questions. Judges will then convene and select the best team on the night as the Young Enterprise Scheme 2023 regional champion!

Bake it Easy produces affordable vegan cake mixes to make eggless baking easy. In collaboration with Crafty Baker to promote the small market for vegan mixes in the baking industry.

Soothe produces high SPF sunsticks that are ethically sourced, biodegradable, and use natural ingredients plus zinc oxide. Soothe products are waterproof, and have been tested in rough conditions. 10% of all profits go towards Cancer Society New Zealand.
