Kia ora e te whānau, We've had a week of celebrations as we farewelled our senior students who are now preparing to sit their NCEA external exams. For our Year 13 students, this week marks the end of their formal schooling and the start of the next chapter in their lives. We farewelled them at our Year 13 celebration on Wednesday evening and look forward to seeing them again after their exams for the formal Year 13 Graduation ceremony. Our Year 11 and 12 Prize Giving was fantastic and it was great welcoming whānau into the school to celebrate with us.
The last few weeks of the term will be busy, with lots of great activities planned for our junior students. We'll be taking the opportunity to remind our junior students of our school expectations, particularly around uniforms and phones. More information can be found in the newsletter item below (see Cellphones/Uniform: Expectations).
Our six new classrooms have now been completed and I know our staff and students are really looking forward to using them. We are having a blessing on Tuesday morning at 5.30am and everyone is warmly invited to join us.
Have a wonderful weekend!
