Snow Camps

Skiing, Snowboarding, Safety:

Level 2 PEO and PED tauira have been experiencing the slopes at Mt Ruapehu/Tongariro National Park this week, as part of their assessment activities, including Skiing, Snowboarding, Cycling, Swimming, and White Water Rafting (weather permitting).

• PEO Winter Camp (26, 27, 28 August 2024) • PED Snow Trip (28, 29, 30 August 2024)

During their Snow Camp, tauira will be required to analyse the application of risk management strategies to a challenging outdoor activity (snow sports), participate in skiing, and snowboarding and apply safety management strategies during the trip.
