Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing ...

The New Zealand Programming Contest was held on Saturday 19 August 2023 at six locations throughout the country, with more than a hundred teams participating in the nationwide contest. Green Bay High School entered three teams of Year 11, 12, 13s (with three students in each team) competing at Auckland University. There were categories for schools, tertiary, as well as being open to members of the public.

Our school team of Year 13 students: Nathan Lakeland, Nathan Kleine-Deters, and Daniel Fleming were in the top percentile of teams who did really well. Their knowledge of computer programming was impressive, and we are looking forward to participating in similar competitions in the future.

Pictured above is proud teacher Jessy George, with Daniel Fleming, Nathan Lakeland, Nithin Kishore, Ammaar Khan, Jeffery Zhang, and Harrison Clark-Robinson.
