Winter Tournament Week: Off To A Great Start!

Go GBHS, go! Day 1 UPDATE:

• Our boys' lst Xl team has started off well, with a win 1-0 against Hastings today. They are up against Kings' College and Kapiti College tomorrow.
• Our girls' lst Xl football team had a 2-1 loss against Pakuranga College, and are ready to get back on the field with a 4pm game against Lytton High School.
• Our netball team won their first game 39-23, vs Te Aroha College, and won their second game 32-25 vs Mercury Bay!
• Archery - Levi Matheson (Year 11) and Jesse Matheson (Year 9) are at the Winter AIM competition. Results: Levi secured a Gold Medal in the Compound U16 Individual. Levi and Jesse won Silver (missed gold by 3 points) in the Compound U16 Teams!

Approximately 40,000 students, teachers, coaches, and whanau are part of NZSS Winter Tournament Week, with more than 40 events nationwide.

Throughout the week, Green Bay High School is being represented by: Football Boys' lst Xl, playing in Napier (27 - 31 August) Football Girls' Ist Xl, playing in Rotorua (27 August - 1 September) UNISS (Upper North Island Secondary School) Netball, playing in Hamilton (27 August - 1 September) Basketball teams (Junior and Senior teams) are playing in Waitakere.
