Leading by example ...
How was your Voting experience at a local polling booth during the recent Election? Take a moment to think about the workers who went the extra mile to ensure our community had a positive experience - including some of our very own GBHS students!
Several Voting Place Managers contacted the school with high praise for the work carried out by Mitchell Layton (Year 12) stationed at Huia, Nathan Kleine Deters (Year 13) who was stationed at Titirangi War Memorial, and Ryan Cavill (Year 13) who worked at part of the Supplies and Logistics Team, at the New Lynn Head Quarters.
Our students were commended on their efficient service, willingness to help, their friendly and courteous manner, and their ability to pick up skills quickly, ensuring a smooth service for Voters.
It is wonderful to see our school values being put into action within the community. Well done to Mitchell, Nathan, and Ryan for setting a wonderful example to others.
