Principal's Post

Kia ora e te whānau; in schools we often breathe a sigh of relief when we reach the end of Term 3 and the opportunity for a break. It’s a busy time, with a huge effort by staff and students coming to an end as we reach Term 4, which is marked by exams, assessments, and end of term festivities.
It’s no different this term and I’d like to thank everyone for their tenacity and positivity during the long winter as we faced down the challenges of Covid-19 and numerous cold and flu bugs.
Our students have done amazingly. They are doing their best in what has been a difficult time, and so have our staff and families. Everyone deserves a good break.
Before we head off I’d like to congratulate Harrison Clark-Robinson for his re-election to the School Board as Student Trustee.
I also need to bring your attention to the removal of a pre-fab classroom that contains asbestos. This will take place during the holiday period. More details about these stories are published in our weekly newsletter, including:
- Mark your diaries for Term 4 activities - a list of calendar events for the term

- Food Bank Drive - thank you!
