Readers' Cup 2024

READING CHALLENGE:

The Readers' Cup is a competition for Year 9 students, where their knowledge of pre-determined novels they have read is put to the test during a quiz night - competing against teams of avid readers from other secondary schools.

Having prepared for weeks in advance, a selected team GBHS students took part in the North West Auckland Readers' Cup Competition on Wednesday.

Fourteen schools from North and West Auckland participated in the quiz night based on six novels they had read.

The team from GBHS did an amazing job and were sitting in second place at the halfway mark, ultimately finishing in 5th place.
