International language of food

Senior Japanese language students put their skills to the test earlier this week, sharing a lunch together with some of our international students, at Ajimi Restaurant, Onehunga Mall.

Food is an international language - everyone loves to be immersed in culture through authentic cuisine and experiences.

This trip was more than just a fun outing and a yummy lunch - it also provided an opportunity for students to test their language skills, order food and interact with the hosts.

This opportunity also allowed our international students to enjoy talking to peers interested in their own culture, while learning lots of English at the same time.
