School Holiday Internships
Year 13 students, Caroline Tu'a and Brooklyn Day, are well on their way to pursue their chosen career pathways, after completing an Internship over the term break with local creative advertising agency DDB Group Aotearoa NZ
Green Bay High School proudly promotes the use of a careers initiative, Student360, offering Year 12 and Year 13 students work experience opportunites during school holidays, helping them to gain knowledge, understand skill sets, igniting strengths and sparking passion while exploring a future career pathway.
"I enjoyed meeting new people at the internship. It was an amazing experience and I learnt a lot of new things," says Brooklyn, who is planning to go to University of Auckland to study Business.
"I recommend this experience to everyone. It was fun and you get an opportunity to make connections outside of school and with the work life and I am very grateful that I was directed towards this from our school careers team".
DDB Group’s DEI (diversity, equality and inclusion) initiatives encourages Māori, Asian and Pasifika students into advertising and communications careers.
