Fun, Filling and Educational.
Year 12 Business students headed to Spookers earlier this week, this proved to be a great way for students to be motivated about motivational theory! A number of interesting interviews with Spookers staff members provided students with rich information for their current Internal assessment. As well as theory, there was plenty of opportunity for fun and the Fear Factory attraction was well received - as was the delicious pizza lunch. Fun, filling and educational. The perfect mix!
Thank you to guest speaker, Norman Iopu, from Ideal Electrical Suppliers who shared his experiences of employing staff. This was very helpful to our Year 11 Business students as part of their current internal assessment: Investigate aspects of human resource processes in a business (1.5). Thanks Norman for your valuable time and contribution - the students loved the prizes too!
Nirtika Niranjan, Head of Technology, was guest judge for the Year 9 "How Business impacts the world we live in" task. Students used cutoffs and clean waste from the technology department to create an innovative product that had a purpose and solved an issue such as pollution or textile waste. Lovely to see you in Commerce Nirtika (pictured above with two of our Swagga Surf Gear winners, as worn by one of the team).
