Shave For A Cure

EVENT: WEDNESDAY 4 SEPTEMBER!

Brave students and staff are putting their luscious locks on the line - fundraising for Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand.

With the 'Great Shave' taking place in the school gym, next Wednesday (4 September) fundraising is well on the way!

Science teachers: Ben Cook and Tonatiuh Fernandez are both participating, adding a competitive edge into the mix, announcing that every $2 that a student donates will give them one entry into a 'Who Will Shave the Teacher Raffle'. The winners of the raffle - one winner for Tonatiuh and one winner for Ben - will be called upon to be the 'official' Shaver on the day (for that teacher)!

GBHS's team have already exceeded their initial fundraising goal of $5000 having reached $6,368.64 (at last count): Click HERE to donate.

A separate team of compassionate students have also got the ball rolling, having created their own fundraising page. Hoping to reach $1000, they are currently sitting on $1,094. Check it out HERE
