Anthony Harris (Year 13) is taking part in an exciting opportunity to showcase his skills.

His goalkeeping talent led to his selection to travel with the CM Maestro Football Academy, as part of the U18 squad, currently in Las Vegas for the Mayor's Cup International Showcase (12 - 21 February 2025).

Anthony was picked as first choice goalkeeper when his club side was asked to play in a tournament – whereby a team would be selected to go to Spain in September this year. This led to him being called up at short notice, when the goalkeeper originally selected for the Las Vegas tour had to pull out.

In one of the games in Las Vegas against the Nevada top side, Anthony saved 33 of 37 shots at goal – this would have been a great game to watch!

Playing football at the age of 9 years old, Anthony started off as a striker before putting his hands up to be goalkeeper (when their goalkeeper went to another club)

The rest, as they say, is history!
