Lifting over 3x his own bodyweight!

Year 13 student, Raphael Price is a powerhouse in his own right, having placed 1st in the recent North Island NZPF National Powerlifting Championships 2023, held earlier this month.
Raph competed in the U59kg class, lifting 142.5kgs in the squat, 70kgs in the bench, and 167.5kgs in the deadlift (!!)
Having only just started lifting competitively, Raph's interest in weight lifting was piqued during gym sessions with his mates - where he discovered a passion for powerlifting. In the lead-up to the competition, Raph received coaching from a student coach and says he is looking into competing in other events in the future.
