Wwwwwipe Out!

The GBHS Surf team competed at Raglan’s Manu Bay earlier this month, as part of the North Island Surf Champs.

Braving icy temperatures, team members surfed some quality waves in their competition heats and free surfs. Although we did not secure any finalists this year, the conditions led to lots of experience gained.

Finn Moore Williams (Year 10) gained the highest heat score of the team, and Aron Bird (Year 12) was awarded 'best wipeout' on a wave at The Boneyards.
