1st Place: Aquathon Champs

Isaac Gear (Year 11) FIRST PLACE! On Wednesday this week, 14 GBHS students headed over to Saint Kentigern's College to compete in the Auckland Aquathon Championships. It was an awesome event and amazing experience for our young athletes. The event started with an ocean swim and then either a 4km run or 6km run. Check out these amazing results from our students:
- Isaac Gear (Yr 11) came 1st in the U16 Individual Boys Event
- Clayton Fell (Yr 12) and Max Marvin (Yr 12) came 3rd in the U19 Boys Team Event
- Dylan Tukia (Yr 9) and Lyam Harford-Gardiner (Yr 9) came 2nd in the U14 Boys Team Event.
- Lauren Barrett-Hamilton (Yr 11) finished in the Top Ten for the U16 Individual Event and Luka Guthrie (Yr 9) finished in the Top Ten for the U14 Individual Event.
