Friday, 23rd October 2026 at 9:40am ##### Mixit Visits Green Bay High School: Mixit is a creative community programme that brings together young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds, helping them build friendships, confidence and a sense of belonging through performing arts and creative activities. Sharing pizza and stories, students learned about the exciting opportunities Mixit offers, including developing communication, teamwork, creativity and leadership skills – all completely free. A special thank you to our students **Disumi Nanayakkara Wasam Hapugalage (Yr 12)** and **Aisha Naushad (Yr 13)**, who shared their personal experiences with Mixit (pictured with Mixit Programme Leader, Izadine Ahmat Abdallah) and encouraged others to get involved. It was a fantastic lunchtime celebrating connection, creativity, and new opportunities.
