Topics in this module will include Consent, Decision‐making, Assertiveness Skills, Healthy and Unhealthy Relationships, Contraception, STI Information, and Puberty. Year 10 classes will, in addition, work on the Body Safe Programme. You can access the [Body Safe](https://bodysafe.nz/) website, which covers topics on respectful sexual relationships, keeping safe, sexual violence and abuse, NZ Laws, myths and crimes surrounding sex. We believe that all students need to be aware of these issues, and develop skills on how to deal with them. If for any reason you are unhappy about your child being involved in these parts of the Health programme, please send a note to the school, directed to who is more than happy to discuss any questions you may have, and can be contacted at school on 817‐8173 ext 216.
