Former GBHS student Tayla Nasmith is running a charity called Nurturing Families NZ and has reached out to GBHS to help spread the Christmas Cheer! This year so far, 1500 children have been nominated to receive Christmas presents. These children have been nominated by support agencies that assist those in crisis, ensuring they have the chance to celebrate Christmas this year. To help families in need, students are encouraged to bring in unwrapped gifts, to be collected and donated to Nurturing Families NZ. Students will be awarded House points for each gift. Gifts can be dropped off in class to form teachers, or to Helen in Student Reception.
