This week has been full of new adventures for some, kicking off with a tour …' --- Exploring Auckland INTERNATIONAL programme ![INT everybody eats](https://greenbayhigh.school.nz/images/0/5/f/9/4/05f94aa15bf492dd196f96a36247addc71a488b1-int-everybody-eats.jpg "INT everybody eats") # Exploring Auckland Thursday, 7th November 2024 at 7:40am ##### International students at Green Bay High School (not sitting NCEA exams) are provided with the exciting opportunity to explore some of the sights and sounds of Auckland - as part of our end-of-year International programme. This week has been full of new adventures for some, kicking off with a tour of Weta Workshop Unleashed, Bowling, Auckland Museum, Volunteering...and a ferry trip and sightseeing tour of Rangitoto Island. Pictured above are International students, from Chile, Gabriel Sharp Garrido and Rocio Fuentealba Garcia preparing and serving food to the community at Everybody Eats - a ‘pay as you feel’ restaurant. The goal of Everybody Eats is to create community and reduce food waste by feeding bellies and not bins. A delicious three course meal was enjoyed by all! Over the next couple of weeks, international students will travel to Hobbiton, Tree Tops Adventures, Devonport, and learning to surf at Tāwharanui, and sail at Westhaven Marina - to name just a few of the exciting activities!
