Students helped out at Everybody Eats, and Fairfoods. Some were front-of-house and some were behind the scenes in the kitchen. Everybody Eats is a fantastic concept, with a pay-as-you-feel dining concept for everyone. Check it out! . Fairfood rescues food that would otherwise go into landfill and turns it into delicious meals that are then distributed to community organizations. Check it out! Staying with the theme of food (always a great way to share cultures) students also helped our GBHS language classes - providing authentic language experiences for our local students. Students also spent time at Ecomatters upcycling - using old bicycle wheels to make a climbing frame for growing peas, and helping to clean up the waterway and surroundings in Ōkaurirahi (Ceramco Park). GBHS is very proud of our International students who will have collectively volunteered over 180 hours to our community.
