###### Congratulations to our Tula'i Leadership students who have recently completed their Tula’i Ngāue Pasifika Youth Leadership Programme 2026.

Tula’i is a Pasifika Youth Development Organisation dedicated to empowering young Pasifika to arise and lead with confidence, purpose, and pride.

The programme is tailored towards Pasifika students who have a keen interest in connecting with culture and community, problem-solving, and entrepreneurship, with an overarching learning objective to build a strong foundation in Pacific value systems that provide a safe space to explore their leadership capabilities and capacity.

Throughout the past 15 weeks, Green Bay High School's Tula'i Year 12 representatives, Kimi Tekotia, Ata Willis-Arioka, Ngahuia Willis, Arah-Lucias Vaega, Larni Lomu, Tobias Christensen-Powell, and Akesa Vea attended workshops with Year 12 and 13 Pasifika students from West Auckland high schools addressing issues amongst Pasifika youth and initiating solutions.

Thoramei Resture (Year 13) is a graduate of the Tula'i (2025) programme, and was invited back as a Tuakana this year, mentoring and leading the youth.

We are extremely proud of our students who showcased their beautiful cultural performances; Green Bay students also taught a Cook Island dance to the cohort and presented projects they had developed during the programme, including their camp, and highlighting the Pacific values they can proudly instil in their learnings. Our staff were proud to attend their Graduation evening, and cheered our students on as they celebrated their achievements, growth and cultures.

We look forward to sending more students to next year's programme!
