Jack Hansen (Yr 13) had a nail-biting final, after leading most of the way he narrowly lost, finishing in 2nd place in the NZ Secondary School Individual Epee. Jack knocked James MacDonald (Yr 12) out in another close match (15 - 14) and was also on the podium in 3rd= place. Travis West-Hill (Yr 12) finished 10th in the 32-strong field, with Braden Clemmett (Yr 12) in 24th and Matias Ureta (Yr 10) in 27th place respectively. Jack, James, Travis and Braden also qualified for a spot in the team's competition, placing GBHS in 3rd place!
