What is Self-Care Week? GBHS's Self-Care week coincides with Aotearoa Mental Health Awareness week (26 Sept - 2 Oct). The aim of this week is to raise awareness and decrease the stigma around mental health in New Zealand and to look at how we, as a school, can look after our mental well-being to ensure we can succeed together. GBHS’s Hauora Festival, held at lunchtime on Tuesday (27 September) provided students with pamphlets and advice on how to manage study stress, how to take care of mental well-being, and some fun activities, such as making friendship bracelets.
