Phones should …' --- Cellphones Expectations ![generic](https://greenbayhigh.school.nz/images/c/7/4/5/9/c7459b991f6b67985e259b8e995db56935d15037-schoolkiwi.png "generic") # Cellphones Friday, 30th January 2026 at 12:29pm #### Away For The Day - A reminder of our school guidelines: If a student chooses to bring a cellphone to school: - It must be switched off and in their bag by the start of Period 1. - It must remain in their bag until the end of Period 5. - Phones must be kept in the student’s own school bag. - Phones should not be connected to smartwatches. - Accessories such as earbuds, AirPods, or headphones must also remain in bags during the school day. Phones are brought to school at the student’s own risk. The school is not responsible for loss or damage. Students with approved exemptions will be issued a physical pass by Deputy Principal Sandy Begg, and this will be recorded on KAMAR. #### Support If a student needs support with settling back into school, our [pastoral and guidance teams](https://greenbayhigh.school.nz/student-life/wellbeing-and-support) are available.
