Green Bay High School warmly welcomes Kate Steuart, our new Sport Coordinator! Kate brings her vast sporting knowledge, with a strength and conditioning background, having worked as a fitness/personal trainer for quite a few years. "I am looking forward to bringing my sport science expertise to the table," says Kate. "I'm all for having a crack at any sport (PE was my favourite subject in school obviously), which I hope is a mindset I can instil in as many students as I can here at Green Bay High School." An avid football player from the age of 5 until switching codes to Aussie Rules football (AFL) a couple years back, Kate is an active relaxer, and says if she is not in the gym or playing sport, you'll surprisingly find her sewing in her free time: "To give my body a rest while still challenging the brain!" Students can talk to Kate about all things sport, and can find her in the school sport office, located beside the gym.
